Emergency crews responded to two separate incidents in Terrey Hills on Friday, 29 May, including a fallen tree blocking a roadway and a late-night fire alarm at an industrial property.

Terrey Hills Rural Fire Brigade was first called to Kanangra Avenue shortly after 6am after reports a tree had fallen across the road.

Firefighters used chainsaws to cut up the tree and clear debris from the roadway, allowing the road to reopen just before 7am.

Later that evening, just after 8pm, NSW Rural Fire Service and Fire and Rescue NSW crews responded to a fire alarm at commercial premises on Tepko Road.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus forced entry into the light industrial unit but found no signs of smoke or fire, later determining the alarm had been falsely triggered.

The incidents form part of a broader snapshot of recent emergency service activity across Terrey Hills.
