Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the chance to observe several classes during their writing sessions and have noticed the students’ careful, sustained attention. Intentionally cultivating attention is an important practice at our school. Its many lifelong benefits make it a valuable skill, and our students are fortunate to be developing an awareness of it and experiencing its impact at such a young age.
