On Tuesday, 3 March, 22 of our 3rd to 6th Class students proudly represented the school at the IPSHA Swimming Carnival. Each student earned their place at this special sporting event by achieving qualifying times at our School Swimming Carnival, a wonderful accomplishment in itself.
Competing against schools from across NSW, our swimmers demonstrated courage, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day. For some students, this was their first experience at IPSHA level and understandably there were a few nerves. Others were attending for the third consecutive year and approached the carnival as seasoned competitors.
Regardless of experience, every student embraced the opportunity to challenge themselves and compete against strong swimmers from other schools. Most importantly, they represented our school with pride, resilience, and enthusiasm.
We are incredibly proud of their efforts both in and out of the pool. Well done to all competitors!
