I’m thrilled to be teaching Philosophy to Lower 1st this year. We’ve begun our journey into wisdom by exploring our School Value of Truthfulness, discussing the fundamental question: What is Truth?
Next week’s Sanskrit prayer, ‘Asato ma’, beautifully connects to this theme. Through listening carefully to the prayer’s words, the children made a wonderful discovery—recognising that ‘real’ and ‘light’ can be understood as synonyms for truth.
