On the 18th March, the John Colet Senior Chess Team competed at their first tournament of the year. The tournament was the Northern Beaches Chess Tournament which was held at Mona Vale Public School. We had a very successful day and for many students it was their first chess tournament. Here are our results: John Colet F – Connor, Sofia and Winston – 1st Place in the Junior DivisionJohn Colet C – Katia, Ella and Jasmine – 1st Place in the Girls’ DivisionJohn Colet A – Leo, Siddhartha and Marlon – 3rd place overall Congratulations to everybody involved.
